An ownership system exists within the DLU, allowing different envelopes to share updates from an owner (an envelope defined as the main source of data update) to a referent (another envelope containing this same dealer but not defined as the main source of update).
You can see if you are referent or owner for any dealer in two ways
1. In your "Point of sales" tab :
You are owning all the dealers with the button with arrow icon.
You are referent on all the dealers with the button bell icon.
2. By clicking on "Edit" on a specific dealer from the "Point of sales" tab

Data Inheritance :
By default, all data fields, excluding Call to actions are Inherited from the owner and all the updates are directly reflected on referent's side. However, a referent can override any data field by clicking on the pencil (see below) or by bulk export/import.
When a field is overridden, this field is displayed in blue :
When a field is overridden, data updates are no longer received from the owner.
If a field is overridden, you can still restore the data from the owner by clicking on the pencil and clicking on "restore version" then on "validate" :
The field will be now displayed in black and future updates will be inherited.
Attention, some fields can not be inherited :
- CTAs
- Customs values
- Show website
If you want to change the ownership between two envelopes for all the dealers you can ask it via a ticket zendesk.
