What is the DLU ?
DLU is the worlwlide Master Data Management (MDM) for dealers data of Michelin Group and Euromaster. It is a universal database system that contains general information of :
- LV: Light Vehicles - This generally refers to passenger vehicles, such as passenger cars and light transport vehicles.
- HV: Heavy Vehicles - This includes vehicles such as trucks, buses and other heavier commercial vehicles.
All Dealer Locators information are stored in this multi-tenant Database to allow data consistency, reusability and enrichment.
The DLU also offers different ways to expose dealer information on websites through API & Widget.
What type of data ?
Generic dealer information
- NAP: Name, Network, Address, Phones, Location, Opening Hours...
- Vehicle types: Motorcycles, Passenger car, Trucks...
- Types of services: Tyres services, Battery, Oils Changes…
- Types of facilities: Parking, Wifi…
Other related to a specific Dealer Locator context:
- Ratings & Reviews: Google, Driver Review, Bazaar Voice…
- Marketings Tags: Is Prefered Dealer, Best chance in stock, …
- Call to Actions: Contact, Request for quotation, appointment...
- List of External Systems IDs (eg : MDMiD, …)
The DLU does not have :
Commercial dealer information
- Stock
- Price
- Sales information (ex: Bill to, Ship to...)

How to update data ?
Backoffice Tool
DLU provides a dedicated administration and responsive interface for an easy and quick data management.
Multiple APIs
We offer possibilities to set up connection to your backoffice system to avoid double inputs for the data manager.
Import / Export
Implemant and use CSV/XLS file automatize import/export for dealer updates.
Data Inheritance
When a POS Data Owner update its information, it is automatically benefiting to all referent dealer locators.
