Create/Edit Import Format

Information

You can create an import Format by clicking on "Add".

You need to define a type, always select "DEALER". As well a name, a file type and a separator only if needed (special case).

You can trigger some functionalities depending on your needs. Here is the explanation of all of the options :

Option Meaning
Match the columns based on position not name The value of the first (or two first) row of each column will have no impact during import. But columns order needs to be strictly identical between the file and the format.
Remove secondary header line Define if there is one or two header line. Second header line is more readable
Ignore a field if incorrect  During an import, will not generate any errors if a field is incorrect but will ignore it.
Force geoloc calc if lat/long not present During an import, will always recalculate lat/long if not present in entry file.
Reject duplicate entry in file During an import, will reject strictly identical PoS in the entry file.
Do not create unknown dealers During an automated import, will not create dealer that are not already existing in the envelop.
Export as exposed During an export, will take in account the service and CTA activation.

Once done you can edit the rest of your "Import Format".

Filter (optional)

In this tab you can set a specific filter for your Import Format.

You need to select a "Custom Value" existing in your envelop and select a specific value for it.

Once done, this "Import Format" will only export PoS having this specific value for this specific "Custom Value". During an import, it will automatically assignate the defined value to the defined "Custom Value".
